Outcome of a workshop led by Lionel Catelan on The Situationist Times, an editorial collection created and published
by Jacqueline De Jong between 1962 and 1967.
These editions are based on the concept of dérive: starting from a theme or a fetish object, then gathering
a selection of texts and images related to that starting point, whether directly or indirectly.
Each book ends with the sentence: “All reproduction, deformation, modification, derivation and transformation of
The Situationist Times is permitted.”
Using this line as a starting point, each student in the 3rd-year communication class at ENSAD Nancy created
an individual edition exploring a dérive around a fetish object.
The folder bringing these editions together forms a collective publication, produced with Omaya Faure-Abu-Zaideh and Lily Derveaux.
All captions were compiled to make navigation through the folder easier.
